audition

Audition Online....

Like whats with the game? I see the people playing that with their eyes hopelessly glued to the screen and tapping the Numpad on the keyboard furiously, hitting the spacebar periodically. You know, perhaps we could harness those skills by placing them (the Auditions players) in a large office building, with computers having this specially developed application installed on it and make them play. What's the application? Basically its a game like Auditions with a dancing character but this time, it has numbers instead of arrows, so you have to hit in sync with the Numpad. The numbers would be fed to the application from the accounts departments from various companies or data from research centers that require fast manual data entries.

With such speed and performed by hundreds of people at the same time, manual data entries would be performed at a whole new level! Your local Inland Revenue Service would then process accounts faster! Companies accounts would be tabulated at the speed of light! A whole new industry would be born; the data entry sector! What's more, companies could cut on costs hiring their own data entry clerks by just signing a contract with that data entry company! Also, the data entry company itself wouldn't even worry about idle time due to toilet breaks or lunch because as you know, those people RARELY take a break! How profitable is that!

The only disadvantage is the excessive wear and tear of the keyboards due to the speed and constant use, leading to high maintenance costs. So, a special shockproof and durable steel keyboard which features only the Numpad itself could be used. The players would also be required to wear stress-reducing gloves specially designed for this job or else they will end up with carpal tunnel and rendered useless.....(incurring the cost of hiring a new player to replace the one being displaced.)

That's what I guess those Audition Online players would be good for...ye good olde human power!
