Hey'all! Been a while since I last updated my blog post, phew. In fact, these days I'm extremely busy with the Chinese Lunar New Year visiting relatives. It seems that every Chinese New Year, I have to put up with the vile and rude relatives of my Mum's side. Thank goodness its only an annual affair. Though to admit this year's visit left me infuriated (and it was just yesterday).

Firstly, when we went to one of my aunt's house, the bunch of cousins gave me that kind of look that as if we (my family) owed them a large sum of money. Also once again, they were fashion disasters; the eldest of the cousin was getting fatter each year (and mind you, it's a 'she'), accompanied by horrendous puking gold/brown dyed hair AND wearing faux-fur boots. EW!

Second, the 2nd eldest cousin was wearing gay fashion! He was like wearing typical short-shorts, neon-rainbow streaked black polo tee and the disgusting white 'uncle shoes'! Goodness! Fashion abominations! I don't know about the youngest though, she wore normal; pink top and jeans.

To be greeted such a sight during Chinese New Year.....Bleaaah! Ack!

So after the 1st visit, we proceeded on to the 2nd relative's house. This time was worse! When I greeted one of my relatives, he didn't even SMILE. Like for fuck's sake, what's with the attitude! My 2nd aunt out of concern, went to ask one of the other relatives what happened to her neck (redness all over), and that stupid relative just shot back, "敏感啦!" (translated from mandarin: "allegic!" or in more precise terms, "its just an allergy, now GTFO!") 

Those vile hellspawns seem to take joy in bullying my 2nd aunt. I really pitied my 2nd aunt, since she's the only Thai in my Mum's side and what they did made her look like an outcast. Bastards!

What happened next almost made me blow my top! So, I was standing at the corridoor minding my own business and texting on my phone, one of my elder cousins came up and stood beside me. One of the uncles got out of the apartment and gave me a quick glance while talking to him in mandarin, "You've got no friends?" That FUCKING TARD actually shot back to him, "No! Hahaha no! (implying that I'm not his friend)"

FOR FUCK'S SAKE! You bastards gave me that fucking LONG face when we visited, didn't even bother to greet my aunt, and not even SOCIALISING properly. Why the fuck must I care about you? Must he state out LOUD that I'm not his friend? Who in the sane mind will even bother talking to such an anti-social person like you! I should be the ONE stating that I don't even give a shit about you and besides, I'm your fucking cousin, not your 'friend'! Rude punk!

Later, I learnt from my parents that they did that was most likely due to jealousy. See, my parents were really poor (before I was born) and had to rely on my Mum's side of relatives for a safe place to stay and also money. My Dad's first business venture failed and ended up owing people like loansharks, money and therefore my parents had to seek refuge. Money problems and the lack of a proper housing plagued them.

My Mum then entered the interior design, renovation and construction sector soon after and from then she started to get financially stable. She had to endure years of hardship before leaving her old company (that collasped due to the poor handling of the upper-management) and started her own renovation and interior design company. The company built up by my Mum now is all due to her blood and sweat, now even owning a factory with it and just this year, she decided to expand and diversify her business into electrical and door-making by acquiring another company and opening up another factory. This is a fine example on HOW people get successful in life! Not just sitting there and getting all jealous.

The relatives on the other hand, seeing my Mum from a poor, helpless lady now owning two companies, a factory and getting a new family car, became the typical Chinese and went extremely jealous...Dumb right? If you want to be wealthy, work yourself up to it! Stupid relatives.
