parkour!

Woot! Finally got Mirror's Edge and to tell you its extremely thrilling and fun! Hopping from one skyscraper to the next, scaling walls on pipes, balancing on pipes tens of stories above the ground and zipping through areas without letting the cops getting you.

Also, finally a game where the environment is not all 'dirty and grime-ridden'. The city that the story takes place in is extremely clean, modern and sleek. Fun! With my Nvidia 9800 GTX graphics card, sometimes the materials and graphics do look almost real! Movie-like!

Gameplay-wise is easy at first but kinda hard to grasp at the later levels. Combat wise is hard but takes some time to get the hang of it, especially without a HUD/UI, you don't know when you are gonna run outta bullets.

Rating for this game? 4.5/5! Worth the $56.70 that I forked out for it, since it also contains a bonus music CD with all the remixes of 'Still Alive' - the theme for the game itself, not to be confused with the Portal version.
